What is FSTP?

To be eligible for the FSTP, candidates must have either a valid job offer of full-time employment in Canada for at least one year in their skilled trade, OR a certificate of qualification issued by a Canadian provincial or territorial authority. The certificate of qualification is evidence that the candidate meets the necessary standards and requirements to work in their skilled trade in Canada.

Language Proficiency
Candidates must demonstrate language proficiency in either English or French. To prove their language ability, they need to take an approved language test. The accepted language tests include the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) for English and the Test d'Évaluation de Français (TEF) for French.

All applicants must be admissible to Canada, which means they must not have any serious criminal convictions or medical issues that would deem them inadmissible.

Express Entry Profile
The FSTP operates within the Express Entry system. Therefore, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for Express Entry and create an Express Entry profile. What is the process for FSW Program?
The application process under the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) involves several steps to apply for permanent residency in Canada. Here's an overview of the process
Check Eligibility

Receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA)

Submit Permanent Residence Application
